Prior to joining Fairfield Partners, Karen spent fourteen years in the search industry focused on the technology sector and supplying talent to leading providers of applications software.   Clients ranged from early stage high growth firms to some of the world’s largest technology solutions businesses.  She has completed senior assignments in Product Development, Professional Services, Marketing and Sales.   

Karen was a former Managing Partner of Huntington Group, a boutique technology search firm, and Founder and Partner of a technology services firm, Interactive Technology Consultants (ITC).  In 1998 these firms employed 24 employees with over 40 consultants and achieved $8m in revenue.   Both firms were acquired by Hall Kinion.  

Karen started her career with Hipp Waters, Inc., a professional recruiting firm based in Stamford, Connecticut.  She was awarded Consultant of the Year as the top producer her first year in the business. 

She lives in Newtown, Connecticut with her husband Jim, a Head Golf Professional and their three children.
