Building Brands in the Natural Products Space

With 20+ years of specialized executive search experience

Brian Curry, founder of Fairfield Partners, shares insights from nearly 20 years of executive search experience in the natural products industry. Discover how the right talent can transform brands and fuel growth.

Serving the Natural Products Industry Since 2005

Fairfield Partners has been a trusted executive search partner to leading natural products brands since 2005. Early work with Bear Naked helped scale the business from $1.6M to nearly $50M, culminating in its acquisition by Kellogg’s/Kashi.

Since then, we’ve partnered with brands including KIND Snacks and Food Should Taste Good, and today support high-growth companies across food, beverage, supplement, personal care, and pet care sectors, including a2 Milk, BrightFarms, Ito En, Jack & Annie’s, MadeGood, Maya Kaimal, UNREAL, and Zesty Paws.

Decades of Proven Process Search Experience

Our team offers hard-won experience in the nuanced process of attracting top talent for your key roles. We use a proven search methodology and have developed a unique graphical way of presenting an opportunity, often complimented by clients and candidates. Our searches focus on CEO, VP, and Director levels across all functions, with sales and marketing positions leading the way.

Built by Experienced Operating Executives

The Principals of the firm had successful careers in senior leadership positions before entering search, some of which yielded IPOs and acquisitions. We know first-hand what personal qualities and functional skills are necessary for a demanding growth environment. In addition, we had been job seekers in the past and know what we liked (and didn’t like) with the search firms we’ve worked with prior to entering search and developed fresh approaches to the process.

Broad Industry Coverage

Our client base includes leading brands in the space, yet our boutique model allows us to recruit from the full breadth of top-tier talent across the market.

Two Managing Partners Focused on Every Search

We never take on a search for which we have insufficient bandwidth. Your search will also never be passed along to a junior-level associate. Every search is conducted by two Managing Partners who will be on every candidate interview and follow-up call with you and your team until successful completion.

A True Ambassador For Your Brand

In every search, we operate as an extension of your team—representing your brand with accuracy and professionalism while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience. As a retained firm, we present each candidate with only one opportunity at a time, so you’ll never compete with our other clients for the same talent.

Our Guarantee

We offer a one-year guarantee on every search we conduct. If, for any reason, a candidate that we place does not stay with your organization for one full year, we will launch and conduct a replacement search for NO additional fee.

Let us help you build your leadership team

From emerging brands to category leaders, we help identify and place executives who drive growth.

Philip Veas

Managing Partner

Philip Veas has over twenty years of search experience and since joining Fairfield Partners in 2016, his search work has been focused on C-Suite, VP and Director level roles in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations functions for companies such as Maya Kaimal, Hippeas, BrightFarms, Jovial, LesserEvil, UNFI, Zesty Paws, UNREAL, along with many others.

Philip has been able to combine his deep knowledge of the search industry with his passion for food and anything CPG related. He has a keen interest in the latest food and beverage trends and can often be found perusing the aisles of various markets learning about new and emerging brands. Philip’s passion for food extends into his own kitchen where he can often be found cooking for family and friends specializing in Greek Cuisine with recipes passed down from his parents and grandparents. And has been known to surprise friends and neighbors with Greek cookies around the holidays.

Philip, a native New Yorker and rabid NY Yankee fan and oddly a Denver Broncos fan from the original Orange Crush days, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government and International Relations from Clark University. He lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife, Kerry and their three children Jack, Reagan and Connor. Jack is currently studying Finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business which has turned his entire family into Hoosiers fans, timed perfectly with their recent Football National Championship. Phil is very involved in his community and until recently served on the Fairfield American Little League’s Board of Directors. But he’s recently hung up his cleats and retired his coaching whistle and can now often be found on the sidelines cheering on his children in the many sports they play. When he’s not searching for the next great executive for one of his clients, and when time permits, he can occasionally be found on the golf course in his ever-elusive quest to break a score of 90.

Joe earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he focused on personality assessment, job analysis, and career development. That training helps him quickly understand what each company needs—and identify leaders who align with the business, the culture, and the stage of growth.

Joe lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife and three kids. Joe and his family spend as much time outdoors as they can—running, golfing, biking, camping, and getting on the water whenever possible. He’s a lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan, still waiting on that elusive World Series run.

-Food – whether cooking at home or seeking a great meal locally or on the road.

-Avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, hoping one day for a world series title (even another pennant would be nice!).
