Philip Veas
Managing Partner
Philip Veas has over twenty years of search experience and since joining Fairfield Partners in 2016, his search work has been focused on C-Suite, VP and Director level roles in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations functions for companies such as Maya Kaimal, Hippeas, BrightFarms, Jovial, LesserEvil, UNFI, Zesty Paws, UNREAL, along with many others.
Philip has been able to combine his deep knowledge of the search industry with his passion for food and anything CPG related. He has a keen interest in the latest food and beverage trends and can often be found perusing the aisles of various markets learning about new and emerging brands. Philip’s passion for food extends into his own kitchen where he can often be found cooking for family and friends specializing in Greek Cuisine with recipes passed down from his parents and grandparents. And has been known to surprise friends and neighbors with Greek cookies around the holidays.
Philip, a native New Yorker and rabid NY Yankee fan and oddly a Denver Broncos fan from the original Orange Crush days, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government and International Relations from Clark University. He lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife, Kerry and their three children Jack, Reagan and Connor. Jack is currently studying Finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business which has turned his entire family into Hoosiers fans, timed perfectly with their recent Football National Championship. Phil is very involved in his community and until recently served on the Fairfield American Little League’s Board of Directors. But he’s recently hung up his cleats and retired his coaching whistle and can now often be found on the sidelines cheering on his children in the many sports they play. When he’s not searching for the next great executive for one of his clients, and when time permits, he can occasionally be found on the golf course in his ever-elusive quest to break a score of 90.
Joe Pfaller
Managing Partner
Joe is an executive recruiter who specializes in building teams for emerging and mid to large-sized consumer products companies. As Managing Partner at Fairfield Partners, he works with founder-led, private equity–backed, and publicly traded brands in the food, beverage, supplement, ingredient, and pet sectors.
His recent work includes leadership searches in supplements, natural pet food, and emerging food and beverage brands, supporting companies from early-stage startups to global CPG firms expanding into the U.S. market.
Joe has led searches for CEOs, General Managers, and Vice Presidents of Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations, along with numerous high-impact individual contributor roles.
Before joining Fairfield in 2022, Joe spent six years as VP of Business Development at Global Recruiters of Madison, where he worked across a wide range of consumer product categories.
Joe earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he focused on personality assessment, job analysis, and career development. That training helps him quickly understand what each company needs—and identify leaders who align with the business, the culture, and the stage of growth.
Joe lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife and three kids. Joe and his family spend as much time outdoors as they can—running, golfing, biking, camping, and getting on the water whenever possible. He’s a lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan, still waiting on that elusive World Series run.
Leisure
Joe and his family love to be active in exploring the great outdoors, running, hiking, biking, camping, and spending time on the water in Wisconsin’s capital city.
Food – whether cooking at home or seeking a great meal locally or on the road.
Avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, hoping one day for a world series title (even another pennant would be nice!).
